Thunder over Louisville 2012 – Louisville, Kentucky
Hey guys!
Well, it definitely was still cold this year, we were hoping it’d be a little warmer than last year but our wish didn’t come true, at least it never rained on us. We ended up stationing at ZirMed’s roof access and got some shots we were pretty happy with. :) We had good company, warmth and an outstanding show. Hope you all enjoy! Thanks to Thunder Over Louisville for kicking off the Derby Festival!
The air show was cool, but not the best we’ve ever seen.
A little bokeh for your eyes :)
Our view just before the show!
And Thunder over Louisville 2012 is a go! Our Facebook Teaser!
We love the fireworks on the bridge!
Our favorite photo out of the set :)
Swear these colors were so vibrant, it was just awesome!
And last but not least, the smoke blanketed the city of Louisville.
A Trip to The Smoky Mountains
Hey everyone!
Finally got the chance to get all these photos together from our Gatlinburg, TN & Smoky Mountain National park trip from Oct 28-30th. It seriously was an awesome little getaway adventure for the both of us. We had fun hiking the beautiful trails, and experiencing two seasons in one day. We witnessed beautiful landscapes, wonderful people, and a little fuzzy black bear. :) The weather was fantastic closer to sea-level, 60′s and a sunny blue sky, spotted with white puffy clouds. We couldn’t have asked for better conditions. We stayed in a condo in Pigeon Forge which was not too far from Smokies. We rode around the loop for some time just taking in all the beautiful fall colors, stopping to just breathe in fresh air and to relax. On Saturday, we drove around for awhile thinking of where we could go and what we could see.. Since this was such a spontaneous trip we didn’t really have any spots planned before hand, so we stopped in the heart of Gatlinburg, grabbed some breakfast and one of those little trail guide books, and came across a few pages with popular trails. Clingman’s dome caught our eye being the highest … Read More »
Street Rod Nationals 2011 – Louisville, Ky.
Well hi everyone,
The Street Rod Nationals is an event we’ve been going to for the past 2 years. We have this marked on our calendars every upcoming year since 2009. You definitely see something new every year, take a look at our 2009 or 2010 NSRA photos and see for yourself! These hotrods never get old and we hope to continue to bring you coverage of this wonderful & expensive hobby, for years to come. :)
Anyways… The day started out a little gloomy. But the sun sure managed to come out and say hello! This year was the biggest attendance the expo has ever had, with over 10,000+ vintage cars and over 30,000+ spectators. There were tons of new cars this year. Some being the slickest ones we have seen since we’ve attended but I’m sure there were many we didn’t get to see. If you have never attended, we recommend you do next time, some pretty amazing creativity lives in that event. We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we enjoyed photographing them. As always leave some love below. Enjoy :)
Ryan’s favorite car was in town again!
This car was simply immaculate.
Lil’ hot rod takin’ a rest. :)

Bailey’s Birthday Puggle Party!
Well I was going through some pics from the May archive, and thought I’d post some of photos of a Puggle Birthday Party I was so happily invited to! Bailey is one of the sweetest Puggles around and she turned 5 this year on May 20th. She’s got spunk, attitude and she’s simply adorable. Her buddy Woody came out to play too! Had a great time shooting with Ms. Bailey, hopefully I’ll get to take her birthday pics next year!

Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon 2011
Hey Everyone, Saturday morning we had our annual local Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon. This is Lauren’s second year running the MiniMarathon (13.1 mi). We had one of our best friends, Andrew ran it this year for his first time. They both successfully made it across the finish line. Considering both didnt do much training for it, they did awesome. Lauren finished in at 2:29 and Andrew made it shortly after at 2:40. If that was me (Ryan) I would have been done for at mile marker 2.. :) But here are some pictures of the race, hope you enjoy and as always leave us some love below.
Thanks,
Definitely was a gorgeous morning, and the balloons were out and about!
There were a few people to show up thats for sure.. 15,000 entered!
Here is Ben Davis and Kelly K !! :)
There’s Lauren crossing the start line!!
So determined!
Andrew is so happy he’s running haha!

Thunder over Louisville 2011
Hey guys!
Thought we’d hook you all up with a little bit of Thunder coverage. We had a pretty awesome view this year atop the ZirMed building on 8th and market. The weather this year wasn’t to appealing it was a bit windy, rainy and cold… but luckily we had cover and warmth when we needed it. You’ll notice we didn’t have any air show pictures…that was due to a low ceiling and they grounded some of the better planes. Anyways we had fun and hope you all did too for those of you that went!
Enjoy!
A nice little pano of our view.
Lauren loves that fisheye lens.
Our chill spot inside, nice and warm.
No caption needed. Self explanatory :)
Right before the fireworks started
Love me some bokeh
A Trip to the Windy City
Hey All,
Well we finally got to take our first vacation ever together as a couple. Look out WINDY City! Chicago was a blast. We had alot of fun even though it was rainy, snowy, and cloudy most of the time..haha! We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and if you are planning a trip to Chicago, we definitely recommend it. It’s in such a great location and close to everything. We stayed for a week and still didn’t see everything we wanted to. A few of the main things we saw were: Millenium Park (The Bean), the Post Office that has it’s own zip code, Shedd Aquarium, Sears Tower, Hancock Building, The Planetarium, and of course we did some shopping on Michigan Avenue!!
Enjoy the photos… Excuse this first pic.. haha.. these are our little travel buddies from a toy vending machine. :) they’re so cute.
