Finally got the chance to get all these photos together from our Gatlinburg, TN & Smoky Mountain National park trip from Oct 28-30th. It seriously was an awesome little getaway adventure for the both of us. We had fun hiking the beautiful trails, and experiencing two seasons in one day. We witnessed beautiful landscapes, wonderful people, and a little fuzzy black bear. :) The weather was fantastic closer to sea-level, 60′s and a sunny blue sky, spotted with white puffy clouds. We couldn’t have asked for better conditions. We stayed in a condo in Pigeon Forge which was not too far from Smokies. Well we finally got to take our first vacation ever together as a couple. Look out WINDY City! Chicago was a blast. We had alot of fun even though it was rainy, snowy, and cloudy most of the time..haha! We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and if you are planning a trip to Chicago, we definitely recommend it. It’s in such a great location and close to everything. We stayed for a week and still didn’t see everything we wanted to. A few of the main things we saw were: Millenium Park (The Bean), the Post Office that has it’s own zip code, Shedd Aquarium, Sears Tower, Hancock Building, The Planetarium, and of course we did some shopping on Michigan Avenue!!
Enjoy the photos… Excuse this first pic.. haha.. these are our little travel buddies from a toy vending machine. :) they’re so cute.
