We’ve been looking forward to this one… These two killed it at their engagement session, they were just so natural and you could feel the love they had for each other radiate from all angles. Finally it was there wedding day, and we had nothing but perfection for weather. There were a few scheduling hiccups through the day, but it was nothing this bride couldn’t handle. I think that’s what made this day so special, she was positive the whole day and no matter what, she always had a smile on her face. The Gardencourt was exceptionally beautiful that day, gorgeous blue skies, and warm comfortable air surrounded everyone. Anyways, we’ve made pretty great friends with these two, and hope to take photos of them and their family in the future! Thank you all for allowing us to be apart of your special day! You two are beautiful, and perfect together. We wish you plenty of love and laughter, forever.
- Lauren & Ryan

We are so excited to blog this wedding. We met with Michelle and Thomas about a month out from the wedding to squash out all the details. When Michelle started describing her wedding we couldn’t wait for June, 30 2012 to arrive! We arrived at Karen and Company Salon bright and early and that’s where all the ladies were getting their hair and make up done. This is probably one our favorite parts of the day. You get to see everyone transform from beginning to end. After the transformation process, we soon headed to The Henry Clay where everyone was getting prepared. The Fairygod Mothers were putting the final touches on the Beaux Arts Ballroom and the room was simply gorgeous. Before we knew everyone was ready, and it was time for Michelle & Thomas’ first look. We picked out this amazing blue room that had wonderful natural light. These are some of our favorites images from the day!
Soon afterwards they said their I do’s and it was time for the party to start. When we met that day a month out from the wedding we asked Michelle if they would possibly be interested in a photo stage concept and … Read More »
We were so excited when Ashley & Adam asked us to shoot their wedding. We knew right then that these two were going to be a blast to photograph. We couldn’t wait for their big day to arrive. Saturday, June 02 was finally here and it was absolutely gorgeous outside! We arrived at The Marcus Lindsey with beautiful weather and a few clouds in the sky. The girls started getting ready and Ashley’s long time friend Rachel was doing her hair for her. She was then all made up beautifully by Ashley from Perfect Complexions. Our Bride looked stunning and we couldnt wait to get her outside and start snapping some pictures. Before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. The layout of this ceremony was simply amazing, all the stained glass and wood flooring just looked beautiful. We headed over to 610 Magnolia for the reception for some hors d’oeuvres. Whiskey Bent Valley was setting the mood with some awesome bluegrass music while everyone was mingling. After many hugs and congratulations to the newly weds, everyone moved inside and DJ Sam Sneed was cranking out some jams that made the dance floor busy all night long. Enough … Read More »

So we know we have been a little behind on the blogging of some yummy images for 2012. But we are back at it again with an amazing couple. These two were absolute naturals and you could tell they were head over heals to say the least. The day started out so beautiful and it only got better as time went on. They tied the knot at the First Unitarian Church on Fourth St. There was some beautiful light we were all blessed with and it was the perfect environment to capture such a beautiful moment.
After they said their I do’s, we took some family pics and then snagged them outside to take advantage of the scenery around the church. Sheila was a trooper in those beautiful blue heels. She totally rocked them all night long! We couldn’t believe some of the images we were getting outside. Almost all of them were soon to be favorites. After that we headed to BBC for the reception but stopped on Main Street to take a few more snaps. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of them, they were just too perfect! They really made our day easy. Thank you guys! We closed … Read More »
I tell ya, we are so blessed to have such awesome people to photograph lately. We were so close to rescheduling a couple hours before David & Katie’s engagement session due to some ugly weather in Louisville. I am so glad we didn’t, because we got some amazing shots of these two. They were quirky and fun, and kept us laughing the whole time. I think we are really starting to realize it’s not about the photos we take it’s about the people we meet in return, the relationships that are created, and the exciting adventure we get to be apart of for the next few months! We are SUPER excited about your alls’ wedding and can’t wait to see what’s in store! Thanks for such a fun-filled night guys.
All together now…. “Awwwwww.”
Sweet little moment. Both of their expressions are perfect! lol

About a month ago we decided to do a post dedicated to all black and whites of the Downtown Louisville, Kentucky. This is where we’re from and we thought we’d have a little fun with it. Hopefully some of you will recognize some things we shot!
We loved this white wall..made for some pretty awesome backgrounds, including this one
We liked the lighting and texture down this alleyway.
Beautiful Main Street! :)
The New KFC Yum Center is so clean and such a nice arena!
Such a great atmosphere for dinner and drinks! Doc Crows
Well back at it again, We had the joy of shooting some family friends of ours a couple weeks back, Allen and Lea. Lea had the idea of having the Louisville skyline in the background of some of the pics. We knew then and there where we would be going. We got to the spot a little early to scope it out and saw some awesome locations around the area. We had a blast with these guys, they joked and laughed the whole time and it made our job so easy! Thanks guys, hope you enjoy!
