Mandy & Henry: 09.29.2012 The Gardencourt
Hey everyone!
We’ve been looking forward to this one… These two killed it at their engagement session, they were just so natural and you could feel the love they had for each other radiate from all angles. Finally it was there wedding day, and we had nothing but perfection for weather. There were a few scheduling hiccups through the day, but it was nothing this bride couldn’t handle. I think that’s what made this day so special, she was positive the whole day and no matter what, she always had a smile on her face. The Gardencourt was exceptionally beautiful that day, gorgeous blue skies, and warm comfortable air surrounded everyone. Anyways, we’ve made pretty great friends with these two, and hope to take photos of them and their family in the future! Thank you all for allowing us to be apart of your special day! You two are beautiful, and perfect together. We wish you plenty of love and laughter, forever.

Ashley & Eric: 09.22.2012 – St. Aloysius Catholic Church
Hey everyone!
It was a gorgeous day in September for a wedding, Eric and Ashley were ready to tie the knot, and we had nothing but blue skies and white puffy clouds! When we got to St. Aloysius, Ashley was getting ready with her bridesmaids, and Eric was gussying up sweet little Hayden, his son. Once the dresses were on, and the tuxes were buttoned, the only thing left was to get married! Ashley wasn’t nervous one bit, and she looked absolutely stunning walking down the aisle! They soon said their I do’s, and were off to the reception located at the Glen Oaks Country Club. There was laughter and tears, and lots of dancing. The room was full of happiness, and we had such a pleasure capturing all of it! Thank you Ashley and Eric for letting us be apart of your special day. We wish you a lifetime full of happiness and love.

Michelle & Thomas: 06.30.2012 The Henry Clay
We are so excited to blog this wedding. We met with Michelle and Thomas about a month out from the wedding to squash out all the details. When Michelle started describing her wedding we couldn’t wait for June, 30 2012 to arrive! We arrived at Karen and Company Salon bright and early and that’s where all the ladies were getting their hair and make up done. This is probably one our favorite parts of the day. You get to see everyone transform from beginning to end. After the transformation process, we soon headed to The Henry Clay where everyone was getting prepared. The Fairygod Mothers were putting the final touches on the Beaux Arts Ballroom and the room was simply gorgeous. Before we knew everyone was ready, and it was time for Michelle & Thomas’ first look. We picked out this amazing blue room that had wonderful natural light. These are some of our favorites images from the day!
Soon afterwards they said their I do’s and it was time for the party to start. When we met that day a month out from the wedding we asked Michelle if they would possibly be interested in a photo stage concept and … Read More »
Sheila & Alex: 3.10.2012 First Unitarian Church 4th St.
Hi Everyone,
So we know we have been a little behind on the blogging of some yummy images for 2012. But we are back at it again with an amazing couple. These two were absolute naturals and you could tell they were head over heals to say the least. The day started out so beautiful and it only got better as time went on. They tied the knot at the First Unitarian Church on Fourth St. There was some beautiful light we were all blessed with and it was the perfect environment to capture such a beautiful moment.
After they said their I do’s, we took some family pics and then snagged them outside to take advantage of the scenery around the church. Sheila was a trooper in those beautiful blue heels. She totally rocked them all night long! We couldn’t believe some of the images we were getting outside. Almost all of them were soon to be favorites. After that we headed to BBC for the reception but stopped on Main Street to take a few more snaps. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of them, they were just too perfect! They really made our day easy. Thank you guys! We closed … Read More »
Kristen & Blake: 11.11.11 Caldwell Chapel
Hey all!
We’ve been waiting for this one since we took their engagement photos in August! When we first met these two I think we clicked right away! They were enthusiastic and super excited about each other and their future together which makes our job ten times easier. It was so nice and refreshing to see a couple just completely head over heels for one another. I can only hope that they will continue to feel that way for the rest of their lives! It’s a rare and beautiful thing.
Kristen began her day at the Caldwell Chapel around 2:30, all the ladies were transforming into even more beautiful subjects for us to photograph. We always love this part of a wedding, when there’s just a hint of anxiety, a hint of haste, and of course throw a bit of excitement in the mix and you have yourself a successful pre-wedding party! Before we knew it, she was walking down the aisle. They said their I do’s, people clapped and we’re joyous. Then everyone was off to The Grand! They had 5 HUGE prints of their favorites from their engagement session out front in the movie poster frames and it simply was off … Read More »
Debbie & Mike: Conrad Caldwell House 10.15.2011
Hey Again,
So Saturday October 15, 2011 turned out to be a fantastic day to get married. Perfect weather, the trees were starting to change colors, there was a crisp breeze. Couldn’t of asked for a better day to shoot a beautiful fall wedding. We were so excited to shoot this wedding, immediately when Debbie and Mike asked us to do coverage. We were already giddy when we heard it was in October and at the Conrad Caldwell House. It was a new adventure for us, and that’s what we love!
We started the day out early at New Attitude Hair Salon where we met up with the girls. I think this is one of our favorite parts of the day, it’s so fun watching each girl get made even more beautiful by Kathryn, in their own way. We took a few sweet portraits in the salon, and made our way to the Conrad Caldwell House. The house was awesome… if you haven’t been in it you should, everything is so vintage and delicate looking, perfect for wedding photos. After the I do’s and shedding tears of joy, everyone went down the stairs, (or the creepy elevator.. lol) to party!
Anyways enough rambling, I’ll … Read More »
Katie & David: St. Rita Church 10.14.2011
Hey guys!
What a crazy busy weekend for us, had two beautiful weddings to attend and we were so honored to be apart of both. The Stickler wedding was so much fun! Katie was such a gorgeous bride, and David was the center of the party! It started out at Sola Salons in Louisville, on a beautiful day. The sky was a brilliant blue, with white puffy clouds you could almost feel. The wind was a little out of hand but it made the day memorable for sure. After Katie and her ladies got “beautified” we headed over to St. Rita’s Catholic Church to relax and get ready. The ceremony was full of love and just adorable. After the “I do’s” friends and family made their way to Southpark Country Club for some wonderful food, cake cutting and of course dancing.
We hope you enjoy the photos! We had such a great time you two, congratulations again! :)
Simple and beautiful finishing details!
A cute little helper joined us.

Lea & Allen: Jeffersontown Christian Church 8.20.2011
Hey All,
This Bride and Groom’s special day was simply exciting. These guys are very dear friends of ours, and we couldn’t be happier that we got to be apart of it! The day began at Hair Junkies. It was such an awesome and beautifully lit place making it easy to photograph Lea and her girls getting ready! After some Mimosa’s, Starbucks, hair-dos and make-up they headed to the church to begin dressing up! We all had such a great time getting to know one another while photographing smiles, and even some happy tears.
After the ceremony we took a few moments to take the newly-weds outside for a few “hot” shots… literally, I think it was probably 98 degrees outside haha. They were such troopers and they both looked amazing. Soon enough we were off to an adventurous reception! This particular one had to be one of the most exciting receptions we’ve have been to yet, and part of it was the amazing DJ – Dance Party Unlimited DJ Jack Gill, the other part was all about the people. Everyone was on their feet and dancing, beer cans scattered the tables, and the room was filled with lights, laughter and nothing else but … Read More »
